In a historic collaboration, Art-Alive Arts Trust (AAAT) and Her Rise Heritage (HRH) unite to honour the resilience and contributions of African women, particularly from Madagascar, during Black History Month. This gala at The British Museum serves as a beacon of cultural pride, unity, and empowerment, showcasing the rich tapestry of African heritage and the indomitable spirit of its women.

Why we chose “Evolving heritage" ?
It refers to the dynamic and changing nature of cultural traditions, practices, and identities over time.
It acknowledges that heritage is not static; instead, it adapts and transforms in response to social, political, and environmental influences.

This concept emphasises the importance of recognising and preserving cultural legacies while also embracing innovation and growth, allowing traditions to remain relevant and meaningful in contemporary contexts.
