Welcome to
Art-Alive Arts Trust
Art-Alive Arts Trust was formed in 1997 and registered as a charity in 2001, with the aim of helping children, adolescents and young vulnerable adults find an opportunity or platform to realise their potential and find their place in society through Arts and Creativity. AAAT employs the therapeutic and educational benefits of art tuition and works primarily with three groups: Primary school children with behavioural, and or, learning difficulties, Young vulnerable adults and -unemployed, homeless, at risk of being homeless or even risk of offending, giving them purposeful activities to do. Our primary goal is to work with these individuals to provide them with a lifeskill to help them secure work placements and ultimately to be employed or back to full time education. What has kept us delivering excellent services has been the support of The National Lottery Community Fund over the years and the likes of Shaftesbury Plc, Crown Estate, and Westminster City Council.
OUT REACH WORK
The Trust's Outreach Work brings us into contact with Her Majesty's Prison Service, schools, colleges, universities, care, youth hostels, throughout Greater London and beyond. We previously had a fully functioning art studio on Greek Street, in Soho, central London where painting, textile, fashion, filming, photography workshops were held. Now we have relocated to Regent Street, based in the heart of the city. Since we moved the head office to Regent Street, our project has taken a new turn. The Soho Arts Fair and The Big Soho Clean Up in 2014, in 2019, we were giving a whole space on Carnaby Street, for 3 months, where we involved over 50 young creatives to show their works and products. Mr. Olagoke has now taking the vision to a bigger and greater height.

ANNUAL REPORT 23/24
The previous several years have been difficult, especially during and after the epidemic. The charity lost two vital individuals in 2021 and 2022, which had a significant impact on the organisation, but it continued to strive. We are presently looking for new Trustees who are skilled and can contribute value to the Trust's work. In addition, Art-Alive is in the process of hiring a general manager / director to supervise the overall operations of the charity. We have been very fortunate to have Lanre Olagoke, the creator, assist run the trust willingly and generously, donating his time as well as monetary donations to the Trust, for which we are thankful. He contributed over 20 works to assist collect cash for the organisation.
During the epidemic, Art-Alive expanded in output and with volunteers, and we are looking to expand more, however we have been hampered by a shortage of workshop space. We are hoping that Crown Estate would make this feasible by extending our offices/Suites 319 and 340 on the third floor of Linen Hall and providing us with a permanent workshop space in the area. Since the charity's friend, David Shaw, introduced the initiative of the work Art-Alive is doing in the community locally in Westminster and beyond, meeting the needs of our youths who are vulnerable, especially during this unprecedented time we are living in, Crown Estate has been a great support to the charity. This location would allow us to be stable and the charity to function smoothly, allowing interns and young volunteers to pursue their creative goals, allowing them to complete their study or go into full-time work.
Our major objective is to work with these individuals or groups to give them with life skills that will enable them to acquire employment placements and, eventually, to return to full-time study.
Art-Alive is seeking sponsorship and a grant for a full-time administrator/fundraiser in order to generate cash for core financing, which would involve hiring more permanent personnel rather than session workers who handle one-time initiatives.
We are also searching for project coordinators who will provide free advise and chances to artists at all stages of their growth. As we all know, art allows artists to create without limits, resulting in daring, multidisciplinary work that may be shared with local, national, and international audiences.
The following ideals underlying all three strands of Art-Alive's work:
1. Sustainability: Raising environmental awareness via the arts and exploring greener methods of working.
2. Collaboration
3. Encouraging artists to take chances, embracing alternative techniques, and encouraging experimentation.
